Once upon a time...

we were happy
we enjoyed each other
you enjoyed me....
i wanted you
you wanted me
but we knew its not happily ever after
but its not suppose to be
"i'll sleep on staying with you"
its suppose to be
i'm going to stay with you through thick and thin
now no one is happy
you don't enjoy me
you just want to get away
to leave me behind
alone
without you...
and i'm suppose to be the princess
you told me i was
but now i see that you are no prince
and i'm trying to make this work
but i'm always sitting alone
and i feel a part of me dying
burning away
just so you can get away
when a women is fed up its over
i'm stupid to wait around for you
to get it out of your system and put it into some other woman
to give her what is mine
where has society gone to where this is the norm
that guys can come and go as they please
i've seen it too many times
to be dumb enough to repeat the show
but I'm dumb enough....just as dumb
