Its never what you think

step out on faith
it feels like stepping out on air
like nothing to catch you is there
your throat in you chest
you stomach churning, rest
not knowing what tomorrow brings
but in the end someone will catch you, sing
angels
spirits
or God himself
will reach out to make sure
that nothing happens to his kind
but no matter what you may find
he won't let you fall
you may have to crawl
but you may feel the pain
you may see the shame
dripping over your eyes
and you may have to cry
to get through lonely nights
but you won't have to give up
as long as you realize there's more to this
than what is happening right now
and that nothing wil happen that he won't allow
and that karma is real and you will have to accept
that whatever has happened is nothing to regret
it's up to you to make tomorrow your future
and giving in to God's loving nurture.
